Happy Spring!

Spring is definitely here.  I’m reminded of it every day as I walk around the city- the air is warm and breezy, it’s light out until late, and there are flowers everywhere.  I’ve always loved flowers and plants, and recently I realized how clearly that is reflected in so many of my designs.  Below is a spring “bouquet” of designs- can you see how my brain thinks in blossoms?

The Crystal Lariat Necklace in action!

This is Debbie.

Debbie is rocking the Crystal Lariat Necklace!

Simply gorgeous!

Debbie can be called a pioneer of style.  Seeing the Crystal Lariat Necklace just days after it was released, she became the first person on the East Coast to own this new design.  I can only imagine that friends and neighbors cringe with jealousy that Debbie beat them to the punch, and did it with such class.  Just look how lovely it looks on her!  Debbie is boldly setting trends.  Well done, Debbie!

She says of the necklace, “I absolutely love it!  It’s so simple in its design, but so versatile!  I can wear it with just about anything I own.  I’m sure to get complements every time I wear it!”

I hope you get lots of compliments, Debbie- you deserve it!

The Infinity Necklace in Action!

This is Darlene.  Darlene has a boyfriend named Brian.  Lucky Darlene got the Infinity Necklace from Brian as a gift for her birthday (how nice of him!)

Darlene emailed me this week to show me 1. That the necklace looks stunning on her and that she’s bringing fabulous style to the city of Chicago, and 2. That the Infinity Necklace is not JUST for formal events-it can be successfully worn in a professional setting to the jealous chagrin of one’s colleagues.  Look how fabulous and professional she looks!

Well done, Darlene!  Well done, Brian!

I love when people email me photos of themselves wearing their Kendra Renee Jewelry.  It makes my day every time!

A Shiny New Toy

I saw these last week while I was browsing around a jewelry supply market looking for a chain for one of my new pieces.  I stopped in my tracks.  I had to have them.

They're chunky, rough, and translucent.

They're geometric and organic at the same time.

I'm a little obsessed.

I’ve always been into quartz crystal- I used to collect quartz rocks I would find as a kid and wish fervently that they magically had holes in them so I could loop my embroidery floss through and wear them around my neck.  It looks like all my dreams have come true.

I’ve been kept out of the studio so far this week by things like dentist appointments and taking care of my boyfriend who has the flu.  And also trying to avoid getting the flu.  But no more!  Off I go this morning, and I’m taking these little beauties with me.
