I have extremely high standards for quality control and consistency with regards to my work.  You might say that I’m obsessive about it.  Every once in awhile, I will make something that I just don’t feel comfortable selling at the full retail price because it’s a little quirky in some way.  My worst nightmare is that someone might order something from me online and upon arrival think, “Hey!  That’s not what it looked like in the photo!”  That’s why I’ve created the Sale section of my Etsy shop!  It’s for the samples, seconds, and pieces that are just a bit unusual.  These pieces are perfectly lovely, they just need a good home.  If you’ve been dying to get your hands on a Kendra Renee Jewelry piece but are a little low on liquid capital, now is your chance!  The prices are amazing, barely covering my costs.   Get ’em while they’re hot!

One of a Kind Show and Sale, NYC

Manhattan, here I come!

I am so excited to announce that I will be showing at the One of a Kind Show and Sale in New York this November!

This is really big news for Kendra Renee Jewelry- the show will be my first major industry show.  I love the way the One of a Kind Show is designed- each artist gets a 10 x 10 space with three hard walls which can be painted or built on.  Basically, I get the chance to set up a mini Kendra Renee Jewelry Store for the four days of the show (that’s November 11-14th).  I am already scheming about display techniques that are easy to ship across the country.  The One of a Kind Show represents the top tier of handmade goods.  They make sure that “each item for sale at the show is made by hand, one piece at a time, and every artist represented is in attendance.”  I will be one of 150 artists showing that weekend, and I could not be more thrilled.

I can’t thank all of you enough for participating in my marketing survey.  Your response rate was amazing- my marketing guy was blown away!  You all gave me thoughtful responses, questions to ponder, and compliments which made me blush!  As a result of this survey, I am able to build a well-researched profile of my target customer which I will use in my business plan.  So thank you, thank you, thank you!

Marketing Research Survey
